i’m a jasper johns fan.  last year we made a trip to NYC and stopped by the MOMA.  i snapped these pics of one of Jasper’s flag paintings.  i was especially happy to get to grab some close-ups to see the details in the work.  Seeing the unfinished edges and the deep layers of paint with the brush strokes is something you can’t get from an art book.
